Environment
Since the end of 2005, Delta Dore has been committed to implementing an environmental management policy. This policy was given solid foundations in 2008 by our commitment to obtaining ISO 14001 certification for our two French production sites at Bonnemain in Brittany and Montauban in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
The strict regulatory framework of our industry along with our focus on energy efficiency mean that the Delta Dore group is especially committed to :
- Taking into account environmental impacts when designing our products :
- Packaging: by optimising packaging and helping to finance the household packaging recycling programme
- WEEE: by contributing to the financing of recycling activities and applying the eco-tax on all electrical and electronic equipment for individuals.
- RoHS: by replacing lead with silver in all new product designs
- Informing and involving all of our suppliers in our environmental policy
- Reducing the impact of our processes (energy consumption, etc.) and improving our waste recovery systems.
